UNIDROIT delivers International Conference promoting the implementation of the MAC Protocol and Luxembourg Rail Protocol

On 13 September 2024, UNIDROIT and the University of Cambridge jointly hosted an international conference regarding Sustainable Economic Development through Credit Expansion – A Focus on the Mining, Agriculture and Construction (MAC) Protocol and Rail Protocol”. Held at the Cavonius Centre of Gonville and Caius College, the event brought together diplomatic representatives, government officials, private sector stakeholders, legal practitioners and academic experts to discuss the operation of the MAC and Rail Protocols and how they facilitate credit expansion and sustainable development. The conference featured presentations from a variety of international experts, including the UNIDROIT Secretary-General and the UNIDROIT Deputy-Secretary General. 76 participants from 16 States registered to participate in the hybrid event.
