UNIDROIT contributes to Master in International Economic Law at the Université Capitole Toulouse

On 22 and 23 January 2024, UNIDROIT Legal Officer Philine Wehling chaired a series of lectures for the students of the Master in International Economic Law at the Université Capitole Toulouse, France. The lectures were delivered remotely by the Secretariat and addressed several of the Institute’s instruments and ongoing work: The opening lecture by Secretary-General Ignacio Tirado introduced UNIDROIT and its working methods to the students, while Deputy Secretary-General Anna Veneziano provided an overview of the Cape Town Convention on International Interests in Mobile Equipment and its protocols. The following lectures addressed the Institute’s work in the fields of international commercial contracts, agricultural legal guides, investment contracts, access to credit, digital assets, bank insolvency, and sustainable development, delivered by Senior Legal Officers William Brydie-Watson and Rocco Palma as well as Legal Officers Philine Wehling, Priscila Andrade, Myrte Thijssen and Theodora Kostoula.
